Looking ahead at the weather this upcoming week, temperatures will be at or slightly below average for the week. Chances of rain will return Tuesday night in the western part of the state and last through Thursday night when the storm moves off to the east. We will likely have a second week in a row with no severe weather in the state, but thunderstorms could approach severe weather limits with the system at mid-week. Rainfall this week will be between 1/2-1 inch. This will be needed as August has been dry across the state.
