Afternoon Convection

Some thunderstorms are moving through the state this afternoon. One line that looks intense on radar extended from Davenport to Clarence to Anamosa to Winthrop to SE of New Hampton. These storms are moving SE at 25 mph. These storms will drop brief heavy rain and could approach severe weather limits. There has already been one warning earlier in Clinton, Jackson and Jones counties from an earlier storm. Other storms were scattered across the state and could produce light to moderate rainfall and brief gusty winds. These should dissipate after sunset.
