The showers have been popping up and dying down as they move slowly eastward. There are several showers ongoing. The strongest ones are in Bremer County near Waverly and another one in southern Crawford County south of Denison. A quick tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible if you get under one of these showers. They are slow movers moving around 15-20 mph. There is still a chance thunderstorms will fire and if they do there is a good chance they could become severe with large hail and damaging winds. Otherwise it will remain warm and humid the rest of the evening with temperatures settling into the 70s by Midnight.
