All of Iowa

Hello Dolly!

At Midday the northern edge of the remnant of what was once Hurricane Dolly is moving through the southern part of Iowa. The heaviest rain is concentrated south of the state with a “band” of showers along the US Hwy 34 corridor (either side of it by 10-15 miles). Any of the heavy rain should stay south of the state with just band of brief quick showers and thunderstorms in Iowa, mainly south of Interstate 80. Also the slight risk has been shifted out of Iowa and the chances have gone down for any severe weather today. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any chance, it’ll be very isolated severe weather.
