All of Iowa

Slight Risk Monday

Another round of severe weather is in store later today in much of Iowa. A Slight risk of Severe Weather includes most of Iowa except the SW part of the state. This will be similiar to Sunday’s action (that is still ongoing at this time Monday morning at 2:20) with large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. The bigger threats should be north of Sunday’s event, mainly north of US Hwy 30, but everyone will get a chance for HEAVY rain, which could lead to MORE flooding. Several rivers are going to be flooding in the coming days, especially from the heavy rain that fell and is currently falling in SC, SW, WC and Central Iowa.
