Due to the very heavy constant rain that fell in Central and south central Iowa, numerous rivers are going over their banks once again. The current rivers that are flooding are as follows,
Cedar Creek at Bussey (Minor Flooding, with Moderate Flooding forecast, will fall below Flood Stage late Tuesday)
South Skunk River at Oskaloosa (Minor Flooding Forecast, will go above flood stage later today and fall below Tuesday evening)
Des Moines River at St. Francisville MO (Minor Flooding occurring, will crest 3.6 feet above flood stage tomorrow, will fall below flood stage Thursday)
Iowa River at Marengo (Will briefly rise today before falling back below flood stage tomorrow evening)
North Skunk River at Sigourney (Minor Flooding occurring, will fall below flood stage late tonight barring anymore rain)
The Des Moines River at Keosauqua (Will rise above flood stage shortly, crest a foot above flood stage and fall below flood stage tomorrow evening)
The Raccoon River at Van Meter (Moderate Flooding is forecast, will go above flood stage shortly, crest 4 feet above flood stage and fall back below flood stage Wednesday.)
The Raccoon River at 63rd Street (Des Moines) (Moderate Flooding is forecast, will go above flood stage this afternoon, crest 5 feet over flood stage Tuesday morning and fall below flood stage Thursday morning)
The Raccoon River at Fleur Drive (Des Moines) (Moderate Flooding is forecast, will go above flood stage this evening, crest 5 feet over flood stage Tuesday morning, will fall below flood stage Thursday)
The North River at Norwalk (Minor Flooding occurring, moderate flooding forecast. River will crest Tuesday and fall below flood stage Friday)
The South Raccoon River at Redfield (Minor Flooding occurring, will fall below flood stage this evening)
The Des Moines River at SE 6th Street (Des Moines) (Moderate Flooding is Forecast, will rise above flood stage Monday night and crest Tuesday morning 2.6 feet above flood stage. It will drop below flood stage Wednesday afternoon)
The Thompson River at Davis City (Minor Flooding Forecast, will rise above flood stage shortly, crest early Tuesday morning, fall below flood stage Wednesday morning)
The South Fork Chariton River at Promise City (Minor Flooding occurring, will crest this afternoon and fall below flood stage tomorrow)
The Chariton River at Moulton (Minor Flooding occurring, will fall below flood stage this evening)
The Chariton River at Chariton (Minor Flooding occurring, will crest this evening close to 5 feet above flood stage, will fall below flood stage Wednesday afternoon)
The South River at Ackworth (Major Flooding occurring and is cresting now and should begin falling quickly)
Fourmile Creek at Easton Blvd (Des Moines) (Moderate to Major Flooding occurring, the creek is cresting now and should fall quickly below flood stage this evening.)
The Des Moines River at Ottumwa (Moderate Flooding Occurring, should crest Tuesday and begin a slow fall.)
