Slight Risk Friday

There is a slight risk for severe weather for the entire state of Iowa for Friday. The threats remain the same as they were yesterday. Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes (although highly unlikely). The setup seems to more conducive for development of thunderstorms today. Unless cloudiness from thunderstorms ongoing in southern and southwest Iowa at 2am this morning keep the sky and the temperatures down, there is a better chance for thunderstorms to develop today. There should be no issues with RAGBRAI riders as they head to Tipton today from North Liberty.
