I will be returning to Iowa today from Minneapolis. No rain is forecast for RAGBRAI riders during the day on their way from Ames to Tama-Toledo. A chance of thunderstorms will be possible this evening mainly west of Interstate 35 with the chances increasing as the night goes on toward the east. This is with a distrubance in the plains currently. Highs today will be in the 80s with heat indices close to or just above 90 degrees. Flooding continues on a few rivers in SE Iowa today. I will post later this afternoon after returning to the state for an update on that.
