Slight Risk Monday

There is a slight risk for severe weather in southern Iowa, mainly south of a line from Sioux Falls to Fort Dodge to the Quad Cities. The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. The event will be similar to the thunderstorm complex that moved across the state early this morning, although it will develop much closer to Iowa. Another complex is expected to develop in eastern Nebraska and possibly SE South Dakota and will move E to SE across Iowa. The higher chances of the hail and wind will be closer to where the complex begins, the further NE you live in Iowa the chances drop off. The storm system should move south of the area by Midnight tonight leaving the area.
