Numerous showers and thunderstorms are moving through Iowa at this hour dumping copius amounts of rain. Rain has ended in NW Iowa, except for a thunderstorm east of Sioux City. There is a batch of moderate rain in SW Iowa from a batch of thunderstorms in Nebraska and Kansas, and a line of thunderstorms across the central part of the state east to west from east of Sioux City to Carroll to Dallas Center to Des Moines to Marshalltown to Cedar Rapids to Clinton. These storms will continue to produce moderate to at times heavy rain that could lead to small stream and urban flooding, of which is already occurring in some places in Iowa.
