The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 5am Saturday. The following counties are included in this watch:

Adair, Adams, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Carroll, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Clarke, Dallas, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Story, Tama, Taylor, Union, Warren, Webster, Wright, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek, Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, Iowa, Johnson, Linn, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby

The old Severe Thunderstorm watch has been cancelled for the following counties:
Calhoun, Crawford, Emmet, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Winnebago.
