Temperatures at this hour are running in the mid 80s to lower to mid 90s in Iowa. A few showers are in a weakening stage moving across US Hwy 218 between Iowa City and Mount Pleasant. Boundaries from these decaying showers and earlier thunderstorms that formed in central Illinois will spark a new round of showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and into this evening.
