Radar continues to show a line of severe thunderstorms from west of New Hampton to Forest City, otherwise a large batch of moderate to heavy rain with embedded thunder and lightning extended south of that line to a Osceola to Creston to Omaha line. All of the rain was still west of Interstate 35 and is still at least an hour away from Des Moines and Ames. The Thunderstorms that are severe will continue to move north and will move into Minnesota by 8pm.
