All of Iowa, Severe Weather

645pm Update

A prolonged period in between posts due to very severe weather in my area. The only warning still in effect was for Decatur, Wayne, Lucas and Clarke county which is expiring at this time. There had been a tornado warning for Linn Benton and Johnson County until 615pm. This was cancelled at 6pm. This was due to a tornado that was sighted by law enforcement and spotters between Van Horne and Newhall. The storm at my location (Springville) produced 2.86 inches of rain in one hour leading to Flash Flooding in portions of Linn County, especially in Springville, Ely and Viola where a road has been washed out due to flooding. Storms continue along a line from Cedar Rapids to Mt. Ayr, moving SE at 20-30 mph.
