Today is one of those days you want to put into a bottle and save for the future. Temperatures at 3pm ranged from the upper 70s to the mid 80s throughout the state. Dew Points are in the upper 40s to upper 50s. Unlike this weekend when we had strong winds out of the northwest, today the winds have been lighter. Tonight temps will drop to the mid 50s to low to mid 60s in Iowa. The heat and Humidity that is typical of Summer in Iowa will return as the calendar rolls into July. With that comes a chance for Thunderstorms on Wednesday. The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked a good portion of Iowa in a slight risk for Severe Weather on Wednesday. We’ll see how this progresses as we get closer to that time period. Otherwise enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening.
