All of Iowa

Semi Quiet Day

Except for a few pop up showers and breezy conditions throughout the state. It’s been a relatively quiet day in Iowa. Temperatures were running around 5-10 degrees below normal. The showers ongoing should weaken toward sunset and the winds should lessen to being a crisp summer night to the state, with temperatures settling into the 50s to near 60. As the week progresses, temperatures more reminiscent of summer should return along with the humidity. Wednesday into Thursday is the next best chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. High Temperatures should reach the 80s to lower 90s by mid-week but will fall back to the mid 70s to lower 80s by Independence Day Weekend.
