Showers continue to cross the northern half of the state, most of the showers have moved east of Interstate 35 with the heaviest of the showers staying north of US Hwy 20, although some have drifted as far south as Interstate 80. Strong winds will continue through the evening hours gradually decreasing towards midnight. The Wind Advisory has expired in Central Iowa but continues in the northwestern part of the state through the evening. Amounts from the rain shouldn’t be more than a quarter of an inch and shouldn’t alleviate any flooding concerns still ongoing in parts of Iowa.
