June 27th Roundup

Numerous Storms moved across Iowa this afternoon and this evening. Several Warnings were issued including a few tornado warnings in Pottawattamie and Appanoose and Wayne Counties. As the storms moved to the east the storms encountered an atmosphere that had not recharged from the earlier storms that had formed early this morning.

Highs today throughout Iowa were in the 80s, with a few 70s in the far east where the clouds held tough the longest. The threat of Severe Weather will move to the east tomorrow with only a isolated shower or thunderstorm this weekend due to daytime heating.
