Spring Snowstorm

Picutre taken April 1st Clayton,WI

The snowstorm has ended, and dumped 6+ inch’s of snow over Western Wisconsin. it was 32.F most of the time when the snow was falling. so the snow is Extremely wet and heavy, just a soupy Slush!, but even though it was wet, it still blew all around, and made Huge drifts!. You cant really tell in the picutre I took, but it is clear outside right now, and with the sunshine today this snow will be melting fast!, I may take pictures later today to show the difference. Later on this week temps are going to be near 50,F! so snow will not be lasting to long. Here are some snowfall reports across the area from this storm,

7.2″ Sarona,WI
7.0″ Rice Lake,WI
7.0″ Clayton,WI
6.8″ Hammond,WI
4.0″ Menomonie,WI

  1. It was a quality storm. I was excited to see a few flashes of lightning and hear a few rumbles of thunder last night.

As I made my way north from Oshkosh to Appleton this morning I noticed Appleton received a trace to .01″ of snow. Oshkosh saw ZERO snow from this storm.

I am curious about your webcam. What is your setup? Hardware & software?
